ILLEGAL PARKING At the Pukekohe Magistrate’s Court yesterday, before Mr. J. H. Salmon. S.M., J. Kirby and J. E. Mahoney were each fined 10s for having parked motorvehicles in King Street for a longer period than 20 minutes. For having parked a car within 20 feet of a corner, E. G. Vallance was ordered to pay costs, while G. Steenson was mulcted in 10s for parking six feet of a fire plug. A fourteen-year-old Maori youth from Okoria, near Mercer, who- was charged in the children’s court with having stolen letters from a mailbox, and 17s 6d from a residence, was committed to the care of the child welfare officer.- •
