Mr. John Stewart left last evening for a short trip to the National Park. Mr. E. D. McLennan, M.P., left by train for Wellington last evening. Mr. and Mrs. Hovvey Walker left for the south by the Limited last evening. Mr. Guy Herdman returned to Auckland this morning by the Limited. Mr. G. J. Bertinshaw, Inspecting Engineer. New Zealand* Railways arived from Wellington this morning Mr. P. R. Angus, assistant chief mechanical engineer, Wellington arived from the South this morning. Mr. J. Findlay and Mr. C. A. Whitney were among the passengers who left for the South by the Limited last evening. Captain Wentworth, aide-de-camp to the Governor-General, will leave Wellington on September 30 for England. M.r. G McNamara, secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department, left by train for Wellington last evening. The Rev. W. R.
