BANDITS ATTACK NICARAGUAN TOWN
HEAVY LOSSES INFLICTED

One American marine and two Nicaraguan National Guards were killed on Monday in a fight with a band of more than 100 bandits who attacked the garrison town of Telpaneca with rifles, machine-guns, dynamite and bombs. It is reported that the bandits lost 20 killed and 50 wounded.—A. and N.Z.
