COALS FIRM MINING DEPRESSED The market to-day is quiet, only a moderate amount gf business being recorded. . . . . The banking section is quiet, although better prices are being offered for Bank of New South Wales and National Bank of New Zealand. Union Bank of Australia changed hands at the morning call at £l4 15s. Insurance shares are inclined to be somewhat easier. Coals are in good demand, especially Pukemiro and Taupiri. Timber shares remain idle. Kauris being the only company supported. Auckland Amusement Park Company shares are still sought after at increased prices.
