RAILWAY WAGGONS TO BE REMOVED

WORK AT MAHIA STATION The wrecked waggons which were derailed at the Mahia Station last Thursday evening are to be removed on Sunday. A special train will be sent down and the waggons brought back to Newmarket, where they will be placed in the department’s workshops for repairs. A departmental inquiry into the cause of the derailment will be opened shortly.
