ROYAL FAVOUR FOR MAORI SYNOD
THE Maori “King,” Te Rata j "*■ Mahuta, paid the Maori j Methodist Synod, which is | sitting in Auckland to-day, a j signal compliment. Te Whare Paikea, a stalwart of the King, made the trip specially from Huntly to represent the present occu- ! pant of the mantle of Pota tau, Tawhiao and Mahuta. The King’s representative j will also be present at the Maori demonstration to-nigli: in the Auckland Town Hall.
