SOCCER APPEAL

REFEREE BACK A.F.A. TO GIVE DECISION A case which has an important bearing on the laws of Soccer, and the local rules of the Auckland Football Association, was referred by the A.F.A. to the New Zealand Council for a ruling, without any decision being given by the local Management Committee. the line for an injured player, in u competition game, is one on which the local authority should have no hesitation in ruling, and probably the Protests Committee of the N.Z.F.A. Council has referred it back to Auckland with this idea at the back of its mind.
