HAMILTON’S 1927 RECORD FIVE CHALLENGES WITHSTOOD Hamilton earned the privilege on Saturday of having its name inscribed on the Peace Cup as the holder for 1927. This makes the fourth year in which Hamilton has held the trophy since the competition was inaugurated. Thames held it last year, and lost it in the first match this season to Hamilton, which has held it since. The points registered in Peace Cup games this season are as follow: Hamilton 12, v. Thames 3; Hamilton’ 3, v. Morrinsville 0; Hamilton 11, v. Cambridge 6: Hamilton 25, v. Waipa 14: Hamilton 43, v. Pukekohe 11; Hamilton 9, v. Thames 3.
