Lady Sinclair Lockhart, Mr. Bruce Lockhart and Miss 13. Bullock-Webster have returned to town after a visit to Rotorua. ♦ * * Mrs. W. Reynolds, who has been visiting Hamilton, has returned to town. Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Holmes, of Dunedin, who have been spending the winter months at the Hotel Cargen, are leaving to-day for Rotorua. Mrs. Matthews, of Otorohanga, is at present the guest of Mrs. V. R. Meredith, Golf Road, Epsom. * * * Miss Marchant, who has been staying with Mrs. C. Mowbray, at Takapuna, has returned to Wellington. * * • Mrs. H. H. Mace has returned to New Plymouth from a visit to Auckland. • • • Mrs. James Whiting, of Christchurch, is visiting Mrs. Hollis Whiting at Devonport. * • * Mrs. J. B. Henry and Miss Henry have returned from a visit to Rotorua. Mrs. Nelson George is returning by the Mataroa from a visit to England. * • * Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Haszard, from Chile, are staying at the Central Hotel. m m m Guests at the Star Hotel include Mrs. George Andrews, of Hokianga. Mrs. S. Westmocott, of Otorohanga, is at the Hotel Cargen. * * * Miss Poppy Baring has decided to become a saleswoman in “Paris Trades’* in Berkeley Street, and will start her new profession in the autumn, says the “Daily Mail.” Miss Baring, the daughter of Sir Godley Baring, is pretty, dark, vivacious and a close friend of the Royal Family, a kinsman of which, Mr. George Fitzgeorge, is the part owner and founder of the shop. * * * Among the visitors from Auckland to Te Awamutu who attended the wedding of Miss Mabel Ahier to Mr. Sydney Sellers, of Remuera, were Mr. and Mrs. Stan. Sellers, Dr. and Mrs. King Mr. and Mrs. Ball, and Mrs. A. Bertram. • * * Mrs. R. Burrett has returned to town after a visit to Rotorua.
