PRINCE EDWARD

"THE BRONCHO TWISTER” An explosion finish, with Tom Mix rolling off a fifty-foot tower in a powder barrel, eluding desperadoes and returning to rescue a beautiful girl and his faithful pal just as a terrific powder blast demolishes the tower, provide thrill for the concluding scenes of ‘The Broncho Twister,” Fox Films’ latest release starring Mix. This picture comes to the Prince Edward Theatre to-night for a three days’ run. Adela Rogers St. John wrote “The Broncho Twister,” her second striking story centring around Mix and Tony, his famous horse. Her first was “The Arizona Wildcat.”

“The Broncho Twister” provides sensational episodes that give new opportunities for display of Mix’s strength, courage and fast thinking.

Helene Costello has the leading feminine role. Others in the cast are Paul Nicholson, Doris Lloyd, Malcolm Waite, Dorothy Kitchen, Otto Hries, Jack Pennick, and George Irving. “The Beloved Rogue,” starring John Barrymore, will also be screened.

Marceline Day has been signed to a new long term contract by MetroGold wyn-Mayer. After she has finished her part in Ramon Novarro’s “Romance” she will play the leaiding feminine role in “The Hypnotist.”
