Everslie v Glendowie The inter-club match between the Everslie and Glendowie Golf Clubs was played at the Everslie links on Saturday. and resulted in a win for Everslie by 6 games to 5. The first round for the ladies’ championship in the Everslie Club resulted:— Miss J. Walker beat Miss Cosgrove, 8 and 7; Mrs. Lever beat Mrs. Richardson, 2 up; Miss Little beat Mrs. Goddard, 2 and 1; Miss Smith beat Mrs. Bilky, 3 and 2. Pukekohe Club (From Our Own Correspondent) PUKEKOHE, Monday. The draw for the first rounds for the ladies’ championships of the Pukekohe Golf Club is as follows:—Seniors: Miss Duncan plays Miss Backhurst, Miss Pirrit plays Miss Jefferis, Mrs. Beaney a bye. Juniors: Miss Perkins plays Miss Allan; Miss Lloyd plays Miss Johns; Miss Sellar a bye. The lady vice-president’s trophy was
won by Miss Duncan (handicap 23), who defeated Miss Pirrit (33) in the final, | up and 5 to play. The second round for the men's Junior championship resulted:—Maddison beat Lee. 6 and 4; Charlesworth beat Sellar, l up. In the semi-final for the senior chAmpionsh p Coyle meets Lally and the winner of this bracket meets Brosnahan for the final. The best cards returned in a medal aggregate match played on Saturday were:—Lawson, 96, 20—76; Schlaepfer, 96, 16—SO; Coyle. 90, 9—81; Maddison, 10L 20— SI; Pike, 109, 28—81. Thames Club (From Our Own Correspondent) THAMES, Monday. The final round of the President’s Cup competition played by members of the Thames Golf Club was won by L Griffin, with a card of 152 for 36 holes. V. Boles was runner-up with a score of 155. A medal round was won by E. J. Clendon, with a net score of 75.
