KEREONE GLEE CONCERT

HELP FOR TENNIS CLUB The Kereone Hall was filled for the popular Kereone Glee Club concert, and the tennis club funds will benefit to the extent of £ 10. Messrs. Reid, Watts and Munro were loudly applauded, their favourite numbers being “The Three Crows” and “Shine, Shine Moon.” Other contributors included Mr. McQueen, Mrs. Fulton, Mr. W. Watts, Mrs. M. Mclntyre and Mr. Grant.

Two short sketches were given, “The Fire Brigade” and “The Deiltist’s Room,” and both were well received. The accompaniments were played by Mrs. McMillan. Supper was served at the conclusion of the programme and dancing was then called on until a late hour, the music for which was supplied by Mrs. McMillan and Mrs. Fulton.
