Mr Jack Lumsdaine, Sydney, was a visitor at the Rotary Club’s luncheon to-day. Mr G. McNamara, secretary of the post * and Telegraph Department, is staying at the Grand Hotel. r . p. H. Harris, manager of the Christchurch branch of the South British Assurance Company, is at present visiting Auckland. Major T. Wilkes, Director of Air Services in New Zealand, who has been in Auckland with the Imperial Airship Mission, left for Wellington by train last evening. The Right Hon. Edward Shortt, K.C., who is in New Zealand to inspect the Vrapuni hydro-electrical works on behalf of Sir W. G. Armstrong, Whitworth and Company, left for Wellington last evening. He intends to stay in Wellington for two weeks before returning to England. Mr. Shortt was Secretary of State; for Home Affairs from I*l9 to 1922. HOTEL REGISTER Grand.— Mr. A. W. Whateley, Dr. T.
