Alleged Sly-Grog Selling. —Two alleged sly grog premises at Frankton were raided by the police on Saturday night and a quantity of liquor seized. Intoxication Alleged. Edwin Boyd, aged 47, who appeared at the Police Court to-day, was remanded until Friday on a charge of being intoxicated in charge of a motor-car in Khyber Pass Road. Young Man Found Dead. —Hector Frank Burgess, aged 25, was found dead at his home at Wanganui with a service rifle beside him. Woman's Arm Broken. —Mrs. Emily Charman, aged 70, of 9 Auckland Road, Onehunga, broke her arm through failing down some steps at her home on Saturday evening.
