RIALTO AND REGENT, EPSOM
“THE IMPOSTOR” Facing the disgrace of her brother’s arrest—cast our. by her suspicious father—this is the situation which confronts Evelyn Brent in her latest Paramount release, “The Impostor.” The unwinding of the plot and the rescue of a priceless jewel to keep her brother from the yawning doers of a penitentiary, holds an atmosphere of thrill-stimulating suspense that is skilfully maintained by the director, Chet Withey. in Ewart Adamson’s adaptation of Clifford Howard’s great story. Miss Brent has proven herself one of the outstanding stars of the cinema drama, and her versatile and f.iscinating work in "The Impostor” will add new laurels to her already noteworthy record. Seldom has a story been produced for the screen in which the up to a high pitch of excitement, spectator’s interest is so clever y built “The Kiri Brother,” starring Harold Lloyd, is also being shown. “Ben Hur” is now in it* seven*h week at the Capitol Meli bourne.
