IGNAZ FRIEDMAN

RETURN VISIT The announcement of a return visit from Ignaz Friedman on Monday, September 26, will be acclaimed with delight by all who were privileged to hear him on his recent visit some two months ago. On that occasion the delightful artistry of this famous Polish pianist gained for him a host of admirers, and the opportunity of hearing him again will no doubt be fully availed of. As he will be en route to America by the Niagara it will only be possible for one concert to be given, and the Town Hall not being available on the night of his stay in Auckland, it will be given in the concert chamber. With the exception of the encore numbers, it will be a complete Chopin programme. The items are as follow:

“Three Preludes,” “Nocturne in B Major,” “Valse in C Sharp Minor”; “Ballade in F Minor”; Sonata, B Flat Minor”; two Mazurkas; Impromptu, F Sharp Minor; two Etudes, Chromatic and Revolutionary; Andante Spianoto and Polonaise in E Flat.

The box plan will open at Lewis R. Eady and Son, Ltd., on Monday.
