SCHOONER RIRA TO BE SOLD.—The schooner Rira, which Yas made many trips to Dunedin from Auckland, is now reported under offer for at Auckland owing to slackness of trade. The Rira, which was built in 1906 at Auckland for the Pacific Island trade, is a vessel of 131 tons gross register. She was originally known as the Kereru, and unti a few years ago was running among the Pacific Islands. Since her purchase by the Nobels Explosives Company she has been running on the Nf;w Zealand coast, with occasional trips to Melbourne.
