COUNTESS TORBY DEAD
WELL KNOWN IN SOCIETY By Cable.—Press Association. —Copyright LONDON, Thursday. The death is announced of Countess Torby, the wife of the Grand Duke Michael of Russia.—A. and N.Z.-Sun. The Grand Duke Michael married Sophie Countess Torby by a morganatic marriage in Italy in 1891. Countess Torby was born at Geneva in 1868. She was well known in society in London and the* Biviera*. _
