OLD AGE AND WINTER

OCTOGENARIANS’ DEATHS During August there were 28 deaths of people of the age of SO years and over. A comparison with the decease of persons at other periods of the year show that old age succumbs to a greater extent in the winter and spring months. Last month six of the people were 90 and over, the remainder being SO to 89 years of age.
