NO BUSINESS

THERE appears to be good prospects of Peter Dean, that good trotting ion of Petereta, coming right again if the overtures of a good judge to lease him and the refusal of his owner to part with him can be taken as a guide. A young owner was anxious to lease Peter and place him under the care of H. Kinnimorit, for whom he won a good race; at the Otahuhu fixture last spring, when he tramped 4.36 2-5. Mrs, Sweetapple, who owns the speedy square-gaited son of Petereta, has had him receiving special attention for some months past and now that he has shown signs of coming right again the owner is anxious to see Peter Dean win another good race in the red and black jacket. So Peter remains in J. Shaw’s stable.
