WALKING ROUND THE WORLD

FIRST FOURTEEN DAYS (From Our Oxen Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. After a fortnight ori the road, Mr. F. Stephenson, who is essaying a walking tour of the world, which he expects to occupy four years, arrived at Hamilton yesterday. Fourteen days ago he set out from Wellington with a companion, Mr. Grundy, but the latter became ill at Palmerston North and! was reluctantly forced to retire from the strenuous project in its initial stage. The adventurous walker expects to arrive in Auckland on Monday next.
