MONEY FOR BRITAIN PAYMENT OF £3,000,000 British Wireless —Press Assn—Copyright Reed. 11.37 a.m. RUGBY, Wednesday A sum of £3,000,000 is being paid by France to Britain to-day, in accordance with the provisional agreement concerning the French war debt, concluded on February 16. A previous instalment was paid on March 15. These payments do not cause any gold movements from France to Britain. payments being assured by credits at the disposal of the French Government in British banks or at the British Treasury.—A. and N.Z.
