PROPOSAL FOR LOAN It is understood that the Hamilton Borough Council has discussed the raising of a footways* loan, the contemplated expenditure being £35,000. • If the proposal is carried into effect the work to be undertaken will be confined to the formation of footways with necessary channelling and kerbing in the principal thoroughfares.
