VISIT TO TE AWAPJIUTU Art enjoyable evening was spent on Saturday, when the Te Awamutu Orphans’ Club was honoured by a visit from a representative party from Auckland.. The programme for the occasion was contribLited to by the visitors, and supplemented by items by the members of the local club. After supper had been disposed of, Past President Bro. S. Clark said it was an honour to be fraternally visited by such a large and representative party from the mother club of the Dominion. Te Awamutu was honoured by the delegation having at its head Bro. J. D. Crawford, who, in addition to being Aucklamd Club’s secretary for the past 20 years, was this year’s president of the Dominion Association of Orphans and Savage Clubs. Bro.
