ROTORUA TOURNAMENT PLAY COMMENCES TO-DAY (From Our Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, Tuesday. This morning the weather is splendid and the course is in superb order. The championship qualifying rounds are in play. Play in the Rotorua golf championships commenced to-day. Some of the visitors attracted a small gallery, notably the mighty smiter, Kapi Tareha, of Napier, and his club partner, Fryer, who, with A. K. Schlanders and H. E. Troutbeck, played a four ball match. H. B. Lusk was putting in good work and he and R. Ranifer returned a 71 and 72 at the week-end.
