Tho international motor-boat races for the Duke of York’s gold trophy for boats of the litre class were held at Southampton last month. The picture shows the winning boat, Little Spitfire (U.S.A.), rounding the mark boat. Little Spitftre won the three successive races, and thus the trophy goes out of England for the first time.
