Moitda> A motor accident occurred on & levt | straight road about two miles; from Dannevirke during a gale yesterday 1 afternoon The ear was? driven by i Percy Aleak in, aged 17. and the passengers were his two sisters. M sse; j Alice and Gwen Meakin, and Misses 1\ ! Haines and M. Maliett. While going j cJong Law’s Road the car suddenly swerved and overturned. ! The occupants were thrown out and ' all were Injured with the exception of 1 the driver. Miss Owen Meakin. who had j an arm fractured and received shock, land Miss Malleti:. who received severe concussion ant abrasions, were the | worst sufferers and are at present in j hospital. j The car was much damaged, all ; spokes on three wheels being smashed.
