AUCKLAND RUGBY REFEREES’ ASSOCIATION

At last evening’s meeting of the Auckland Rugby Referees’ Association the chairman, Mr. P. E. Sutherland, reported on his visit to Palmerston North, where he controlled the Ranfurly Shield match between Manawhenua and Taranaki. Tlie following week-end he visited Wollington and was entertained by the Wellington referees and members of the Wellington and New Zealand Rugby Unions. It was decided to hold the annual meeting of the association on September 26, and the annual smoke concert a week later.
