WAIKATO HUNT ON TOUR

SPORT AT GATE PA (Special to ,THE SUN.) TAURANGA. Monday. Mr. Wynn Brown, master of the Waikato Hunt, together with Mr. H. Sampson, whip, arrived here from Cambridge on Sunday with the Waikato hounds. There are a large number of outside sportsmen also here. The huntsmen,.with the hounds, assembled at tile Triangle, and after a photograph had heen taken they made for Gates Pa to hunt over properties adjoining the racecourse. In consequence of a very strong wind blowing the hounds failed to make a kill, yet all enjoyed a fine afternoon's sport. There will be a meet at Otumoetai on Wednesday and another at Gate Pa on Friday. Air. Ben Myers is due to arrive from Auckland on Tuesday morning, and will join in the hunt on his hunter Heather Belle.
