BREACHES AT OTAHUHU BUILDING UP REVENUE At the monthly sitting of the Otahuhu Police Court, held yesterday, Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., presided. G. A. Parker, for failing to produce a motor drivers’ licence when demanded had to pay £ 1 and costs. Basil McDonald, who failed to register for military service, parted with £ 2 and costs. Cecil Hector Creighton, for riding a bicycle after sunset without lights paid 10s and costs. H. Hall, for pillion riding without proper footrests provided 10s and costs. G. H. Todd, for having no tail-light on his motorcar after dark paid 10s and costs. J. H. Cashmore, for driving a car at a speed dangerous to the travelling public, paid £2 and costs. William Herbert, for speeding, had to pay £3 and costs. Frederick Harris parted with £2 and costs for excessive speeding. Roy McQuoid, for excessive speed paid £4 and costs for the thrill. Frank Coombes pleaded not guilty to the 35 miles attributed to him, but it cost him £2 and costs. A. Sadgrove, for riding a bicycle with hands off handle bars 10s and costs. W. Webber, for pillion riding without a proper seat, paid 10s and costs. M. Wall, for not having a light on his bike after dark paid 10s and costs. For driving motor vehicles at a speed dangerous to the travelling j public, E. M. Divier paid £2 and costs, H. Feilding, £2 and costs, J. A. F. I O’Neill, £3 and costs; E. James, £2 land costs; D. Louisson, £4 and costs; IJ. W. Palmer, £1 and costs; F. A. | Sweet, £2 and costs; G. C. H. Orpin, j £1 and costs; E. Kitson, £2 and costs; Albert Jones, £2 and costs; A. O. Hill, ;£1 and costs; John Lucas, £3 and [costs; Robert Hall, £1 and costs; :H. B. Fletcher, £ 5 and costs. Pillion : riding without a proper seat cost R. ? Gunthorpe 10s and costs ; H. E. Woods, j 10s and costs; Ed. Moore, 10s and [ costs; L. C. Wade, 10s and costs; W. King, 10s and costs, i C. Davis, who pleaded not guilty to i riding a motor-bike with his hands off the handle-bars, was convicted and J ordered to pay costs.
