produced exhilarating cricket. The visitors batted first. Mills and Blunt added 207 for the second wicket in two hours.
Blunt grave a fine display. He was missed at the wicket when he had made 12, and also had other narrow escapes. He lilt 18 fours. Mills was more deliberate and made no mistakes. The total was 394 for five wickets when stumps were drawn.
