CHALLENGE FERTILISERS
A. reduction of 10s a ton in 44/46 per cent superphosphate, bringing the price back to £4 2s 6d per ton, ex the company’s siding at Otahuhu, is announced bv the Challenge Phosphate Company. This price, it is announced, does not cover the cost of production, but the directors hope, by increased turnover and running the works at full capacity, to run as near to a profit as possible under present competition. Orders are now neing booked for Sep-tember-October delivery. All farmers who supported the company at the advanced rates will be given a rebate of IQs a ton.
