Mr. and Mrs. T. B. O'Connor and the Misses Helen and Margaret O’Connor, of Devonport, left to-day by the Tofua for Vavau, Tonga, where they will spend a month’s holiday with Dr. If. M. O’Connor. Sir Edwin and Lady Mitchelson returned to Auckland this morning from a visit to Wellington. Mr. ad Mrs. F. A. Blair left for the South by the Limited last evening. * :|c * Colonel Hutchen, the secretary to the Administration Department in Samoa and Mrs. Hutchen, who have been visiting Wellington, returned to Auckland this morning, and will leave today by the Tofua. Mrs. E. Battersby of Matamata is paying a visit to Auckland and is staying at the Commercial Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Williamson are Dunedin visitors to Auckland and are among the guests at the Commercial Hotel. Mrs. J. Reece, of Te Aroha, is at present staying at the Commercial Hotel.
