DEATH OF MR. C. A. KNAPP
WELL-KNOWN SPORTSMAN Press Association. WELLINGTON, Friday. Mr. C. A. Knapp died yesterday at the age of SI. He was formerly in the Public Works Department, from which he retired in IS9I. The late Mr. Knapp took a keen interest in athletics of all sorts, and represented Wellington frequently in cricket, and in football, both as a player and an umpire. He was a prominent oarsman and latterly a bowler.
