ARTILLERY BAND

CONCERT AT ELLERSLIE To-morrow afternoon the Auckland Artillery Band will render a choice programme at Ellerslie Racecourse gardens. . The items include two marches, “Lefebre” and “Three D.G.’s”; overture, “Village Bride”; scene, “A Persian Market”; grand selection. “Verdi”; selection from “No, No, Nanette”; trombone solo, “Passing Hence.” The Artillery Band is endeavouring to raise money for a new set of the latest instruments and a collection will be made for that ptirpose.
