GIRLS BURNED TO DEATH TRAGEDY IN LONDON By Cable. — Press Association.—Copy rig!.. Reed. 11.30 a.m. LONDON, Friday An explosion set fire to film-waste in works alongside the Regent’s Canal, St. Paneras, and instantly a roaring mass of flames and dense smoke terrified the girl employees, who, with their clothing aflame, jumped out of the windows into the car.al, and were rescued by barges. Four others were incinerated. Their bodies were found huddled in the corner of a winding-room. The foreman was sent to hospital in a serious condition.—A. and N.Z.Sun.
