TAKANINI CRICKETERS
SUCCESSFUL SEASON The Takanini Cricket Club held its annual meeting on Thursday last, when there was a large attendance of members and intending members. The balancesheet showed the club to be in a strong financial position, having £l3 15s Id in hand. It was decided to enter two teams for the Auckland Suburban Cricket Association fixtures. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr. E. D. McLennan, M.P.; president, Mr. G. E. Margetts: vice-presidents, Messrs. Wiseman. Collins. E. Fowler, Hawthorn, S. Roberts, A. Wallace, and Revs. Simmonds and Woods; chairman, Mr. W. Roberts; secretary, Mr. H. T. Mclntosh; committee, Messrs. W. J. Clayton, E. Roberts and H. Mclntosh.
