“A DANGEROUS MAN” “He is an expert with explosives, but he does net use them for legitimate purposes.” r pHIS was portion of what Chief--1 Detective Cummings had to say about George Mack, aged 52, who pleaded guilty at the Police Court yesterday to a charge of being idle and disorderly. The chief detective said that Mack had been in the city five weeks and had done no work. He was associated with thieves and was a dangerous man to be about. Accused: I haven’t been able to get work for a month. The Magistrate, Mr. F. K. Hunt: You’ve got work for three months now —in Mount Eden.
