Thereupon Mr. J. H. Thomas, who was Colonial Sec-etary in the late Labour Government, said:—“That dispute is in New Zealand.” Mr. Thomas paused in an embarrassed manrer in the midst of roars of laughter and cries of: "Where Is Qt eensland ?"
