ONEHUNGA SCOUT CONCERT
PRESENTATION OF SHIELD A concert was held in the Alethodist school-room, Onehunga, last night by the town troop of scouts and cubs under Scoutmaster Thomas. Air. Alec Gow presided. The programme of songs, dialogues, recitations and musical items was given entirely by the boys. A pleasing feature of the evening was the presentation of a fine shield of inlaid New Zealand woods made and presented to the troop for annual competiton by the Alayor, Air. AY. C. Coldicutt. This was won for the first time by the Wolf patrol under Patrol-leader Ti. Wickland. The Mayor also gave each member of the winning patrol a scoutknife.
