Broadfoot to Fight in Auckland
MATCHED WITH MCDONALD I Tho Auckland middle-weigh t boxer, Jim Broadfoot, has been matched by the Northern Boxing Association against Jackie McDonald, of Dunedin. The light will take place in the Town Hall on September 19 and will be of 15 rounds for a purse of £IOO and ex;?ens<'s. This match should not only be a ifood fight but also one of exceptional interest. McDonald recently lost the middle-weight title to Harry Case 1 /, then he has defeated Casey, though the bout was not for the title.
