PREPARATIONS IN ROSKILL Reporting his attendance at a meet- 1 ing of the Town-planning Committee at Auckland, Mr. L. A. Tozer informed Mount Roskill Road Board last evening that an agreement arrived at by such meeting now meant that each local authority must prepare its own scheme. As eight months of the allotted period of one year had passed, it is the paramount duty of the board to elect a town-planning committee in order to make the Act operative and j for the general welfare of the com- i munity.
