The New Zealand distributors for the Armstrong-Siddeley car, Messrs. A. Hatrick and Co., Ltd., have made arrangements that in future only chassis will be imported and the bodies will be made and fitted in Christchurch. Mr. A. H. Ivory, New Zealand secretary of the “Aard” organisation, is at present visiting Auckland. At the completion of the New Zealand portion of their journey, the B.S.A. world motor-cycle tourists, Messrs. B. H. Cathrick and J. P. Castley, were accorded a dinner at Christchurch last week. * * * The three Graham Bros., formerly manufacturers of motor trucks, have now acquired control of the Paige-De-troit Motor Car Company. NEW ZEALAND M.T.A. The New Zealand Motor Trade Association has 850 members, an increase of over 100 per cent, on the membership of eight years ago. In June, 1917 the association had only 55 members and an income of £270 a year. Only 20 of the foundation members are stil in the motor business.
