COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Taniwha, sailing at 5 p.m. to-day for Faeroa. returns to Auckland again at 10.30 p.m. to-morrow. The Claymore, leaving to-night at 10.30 p.m. for Whangarei, returns again at 3.30 a.m. on Thursday. The Motu was to sail at noon to-day for Whakatane. The Otimai was to sail at 11 o’clock this morning for Kutarere and Opotiki. The Omana, sailing at 5 o’clock this afternoon for Waiwera, Mahurangi and Warkworth, returns again at 4.30 a.m. to-morrow, and sails again at 10 a.m. the same day for Waiheke. The Rangitoto, arriving from Thames at 5 o’clock this afternoon, sails again at 10 a.m. to-morrow on the return trip. The Haniti, iirriviug from Coromandel at 6.45 p.m. to-day, sails again at 7 p.m. to-mororw for Kopu and Turua. The Kawau, arriving from Kawau, Mullet Point and Matakana at 10 p.m. to-day, sails again at 8 a.m. to-morrow for Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point and Little and Big Omaha. The Waipu, arriving from Kerepeehi at 8 a.m. to-morrow, sails again at 9 p.m. on Thursday on the return trip. The Matangi, arriving from Tauranga 1 at 7 p.m. to-morrow, sails again at 7 p.m. the same day on the return trip. The Waimea, sailing at 4 o’clock this afternoon for Gisborne and Napier, returns to Auckland next Sunday. The Waipori from Greymouth sailed from Napier at 9.30 o’clock this morning for Auckland where she is due on Thursday. After discharge here, the vessel proceeds to Portland to load for New Plymouth and Greymouth. The Wingatui from Lyttelton via Wellington left Picton at 1 p.m. yesterday for Auckland and is due here on Thursday. After discharge at Auckland, the Wingatui leaves about Saturday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Timaru. The Katoa sails from Dunedin at 5 p.m. to-day via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington for Auckland and should arrive here early next week. The auxiliary schooner Huanui left, according to telegraphic advice, Wellington yesterday for Auckland. The Canopus is to load at Westport today for Auckland and is due here at the end of the week. The Gunbar arrives here about Mondaynext from East Coast ports and sails the following day on her return trip to Gisborne and Napier via bays. The Cederbank sailed from Wellington yesterday afternoon for Sydney and other Australian ports to land the balance of her Texas cargo. The Wairuna is expected to leave Wellington to-day for Melbourne and Sydney to unload the remainder of her Pacific Coast cargo. The West Islip, in continuation of her voyage from Pacific Coast ports leaves Auckland on Thursday for Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin, Bluff, and New Plymouth. The Pakeha sails from Auckland on Thursday for Wellington and Napier to land the balance of her London cargo. The Somerset is expected to leave here on Friday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Bluff. The Harpalyce left New Plymouth yesterday- for Wanganui to land the remainder of her Nauru phosphates. The Westmoreland sails from Wellington to-morrow for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers to unload the balance of her Liverpool cargo. The Coronation sailed for Awanui yesterday afternoon. The Malyurangi left for the coast yesterday. The Ronaki sailed for Portland yesterday. The Hikurangi, which rammed the Tiroa yesterday afternoon was not damaged, and left last night for Onerahi to load another coal cargo for Auckland. The naval minesweeper, H.M.S. Wakalcura. left shortly- after noon yesterday i for the Hauraki Gulf with targets in tow I for the gunnery practice of H.M.S. Dunedin. After completing her annual overhaul and survey the Wilson Cement Company’s steamer Herekino, Captain Savage, sailed last evening for the company’s works at Portland to load cement for Auckland. The Richardson steamer Awahou is • : loading at King’s Wharf for Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay and Gisborne. If i weather conditions permit loading operations to be completed she will sail at 5 o’clock this evening. The Mako is still due from the coast, via Portland, on Friday. Messrs. Wati kin and Wallis, the local agents, hope to dispatch her the following day for l East Coast bays. Napier and Wairoa. , The Port Caroline left Timaru yester- ; i day for Wanganui, to continue her loadirisig for Home.

The Port Hunter now sails from Wanganui to-day for New Plymouth, to lift further cargo for London. The Isabella de Fraine sailed from Hokianga at 5 p.m. yesterday for Auckland. She is due to-night or early- tomorrow morning, and is scheduled to sail the same day on the return trip. The Elsie Mary sails to-day- for Gisborne, taking the cargo that normally would have been shipped by- the steamer Tiroa. _ The Kaimanawa is to leave W estport at 5 a.m. to-morrow for Auckland, where she is due next Saturday. The Waipiata now leaves here on Thursday for Ly-ttelton direct, Dunedin. Oamaru, and Timaru. The vessel will omit Wellington on her way south.
