KAHUKURA STILL HOLDS INGRAM CUP
The match Kahukura-Patetere, was played for possession of the Ingram Cup. Kahukura were winners of the Rotorua championship (holders) and Patetere winners of the Matamata championship (challengers). Kahukura secured a lead of six points in the first spell, but Patetere scored early in the second to bring the scores 6—3. Kahukura backs, however, opened up the plav to romp home with another 12 points scored in the later stages Rotorua v.
