COAT THIEF FINED
Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. Protesting his innocence. Thomas Albert Cox, who was previously acquitted on a charge of stealing the Mayor’s coat, again faced the Magistrate to-day charged with stealing another overcoat on August 9. the property of Kenneth Matheson, a clothier. Accused was convicted and fined £3, in default two months.
