Temperature in shade yesterday, maximum, 57 degrees; miniumum, 47 degrees; maximum temperature in sun, 109 degrees. Bright sunshine yesterday, nil. Minimum temperature on grass, 42 degrees. Direction of wind at 9 a.m., NE. Velocity of wind previous 24 hours, c 5 miles. Rainfall during previous 24 hours, nil. Rainfall to date this month, .09 inches. NORTH ISLAND CONDITIONS
