LIBRARY LECTURE
EPSOM Under the title of “The Birth and Infancy of a City,” the Rev. Cecil A. B. Watson will deliver a lecture on Old Auckland at the Epsom Librarv to-morrow night. September <5. The lecture will deal with the following topics: Our debt to the early pioneers, historic figures, the discovery of the "M aitemata, early impressions, our changed waterfront. The lecture will he illustrated by a large number of
lantern views, which will show the city s growth from a camp to a village and from a town to a city.
