“THE KID BROTHER”

COMING TO AUCKLAND Harold Lloyd will be surrounded by his usual capable complement of players in his second Paramount release which comes to the Princess next Thursday. Again heading his support will be Jobvna Ralston, who will probably terminate her career as Lloyd’s leading lady with this production, after appearing in all his pictures for three years. Miss Ralston will be introduced as the girl with the medicine show which offers a source of laughter and drama in “The Kid Brother.” This is one of her most fetching roles and should win her a host of new admirers.

Appearing as Harold Lloyd’s father is Walter James, who for many years appeared on the legitimate stage and soon after entering motion pictures, played Mary Pickfords father in “Little Anney Rooney.”

Ernest Torrance has been signed in the chief supporting role for Buster Keaton’s next comedy, “Steamboat Bill.” which goes into production immediately. It will follow “College,” which is completed but not yet released.
