WILSONS CEMENTS FIRM MARKET IN GOOD TONE A considerably brighter tone prevails on the ’Change, find the volume of business going through is greater than for some time. Banks are in particularly good tone and buyers are quoting on a firm market for most shares. Coals continue to attract steady buyers, and Pukemiros were dealt with at Gls this morning. Shipping is brighter, and Northern Steams are active on a market around 14s 6d. In timbers, Kauris have weakened slightly to see sales this morning at 24s 9d. Miscellaneous shares are receiving greater attention and Wilsons Cement continue firm, being dealt with at 35s 3d.
